The project draws on the expertise of researchers in Ireland and the UK, communities which have a long established dialogue around the methods for developing both printed and digital scholarly editions, including: expertise in electronic book publishing and born-digital literature from Cork; expertise in computer-assisted methods and Middle English texts from Sheffield; and a leading sociologist in digital media, communication, and inclusive design methods from Glasgow. Each requirement of this interdisciplinary collaboration––digital scholarly editing, digital publishing, born-digital cultural materials, social media, computer-assisted text analysis, inclusive design––is accounted for in the shared expertise of this cohort.
